The Central Asia Area offers a unique and exciting opportunity for a leader to contribute to the development of businesses in Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, and Tajikistan and to be an entrepreneur in competitive and highly complex market environments, where the importance of customer centricity and exploring new business opportunities are essential.
You will act as an agile leader (Visionary, Architect, Coach, and Catalyst) and ensure all our partners live Pharma International’s desired state of culture. While reporting to the Country Manager of Roche Kazakhstan LLP and being a member of the Kazakhstan Enabling Team, you will manage and develop together with our partners in Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, and Tajikistan a system to bring our medicines and services to more patients faster, while shaping the healthcare system toward long-term sustainability.
Priorities of this position are:
Accelerate our journey to the North Star by driving enterprise outcomes and contributing equally to the performance of these countries and the wider organization, fully leveraging global networks, digital enablement, and catalyzing an empowered local approach.
Manage and establish relationships with government stakeholders, distributors, wholesalers, and the medical community
Deliver better outcomes for more patients faster by providing leadership to highly externally-focused Partners, which is focused on co-creating with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with local and global regulations, license-to-operate requirements, and adherence to the Roche Group Code of Conduct.
Establish Roche as a trusted partner by actively shaping local & broader healthcare ecosystems towards long-term sustainability (including Healthcare Impact Plan/HIP)
Ensure solid and sustainable relationships with relevant governmental stakeholders and healthcare partners in the system (e.g., Ministry of Health, NGOs, KOLs)

Requirements:
University educated in business and/or medicine, MBA would be a plus
Fluency in English is a must; local language skills would be a plus
Significant experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a range of large-scale leadership and commercial roles
Strong financial business acumen and proven track record of ensuring financial governance
Strong customer focus with a keen eye on delivering patient value
Solid commercial awareness in changing economic environments with experience in impacting strategic decisions
Strong commitment to personal development and demonstration of a growth mindset
Ability to lead teams and create a working culture that is transparent and values-driven and ensures personal growth of employees; track record of developing talent, hiring the best, and strong people judgment
