Job description
The Position
Main Accountabilities
To determine the pricing strategies of the products which are either licensed or to be licensed, in accordance with Roche Global Pricing Policies and the current legislation
To monitor the prices in source countries periodically and check their impacts on the current prices, to declare changes in prices to the Turkish Medicines & Medical Devices Agency (TITCK) within the legal timelines
To secure reimbursement status of existing products by developing and executing risk mitigation plans on a product basis
To develop an integrated market access payer strategy and create local value packs for new products and new indications by collaborating with Global and relevant internal stakeholders
To receive net price approvals from Global Pricing regarding GMP & regulatory prioritization and new launches / indications
To design and/or conduct health economics models (such as budget impact, cost-effectiveness ..) in collaboration with Global and relevant internal stakeholders
To prepare and submit reimbursement dossiers and supporting documents to SSI by alignment with related internal stakeholders to get reimbursement approval in the possible shortest time with the optimum access condition
To develop flexible pricing solutions to support the life cycle management of products
To enhance the legislatively-defined pricing or reimbursement conditions of the products by working on Alternative Reimbursement Models
To establish early access strategies during the pre-registration period of products through importation strategy
To build pricing and market access assumptions into budget processes
To support messages or communication plans in compliance with the priorities and strategies of Roche for public stakeholders/ healthcare professionals and industry associations regarding the above brand pricing and access issues
To establish strong relationships with external market access stakeholders as well as participate in Market Access initiatives/projects within the region/global to represent the local organization and to ensure that such projects shall be realized in Turkey
Qualifications
University degree in Economics, Management, Medicine, Pharmacy, Chemistry and Engineering or related fields with successful academic record
2 to 5 years of experience in market access, pricing and reimbursement in the pharmaceutical industry
Strong understanding of the healthcare environment, legal and regulatory frameworks that would affect the business
Ability to conduct qualitative and quantitative pricing/reimbursement studies and to formulate price/reimbursement policy recommendations with strong analytical thinking skills
Strong leadership, strategic thinking, communication, interpersonal skills
Great aptitude for continuous learning and self-development
Ability to prioritize multiple projects.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop important relationships with key stakeholders from different backgrounds
Excellent command of English in both speaking and writing
Advanced level of MS Office applications knowledge
