The Position
Department Summary
Roche Diagnostics Solutions (RDS) provides integrated solutions for diagnostic testing in commercial and hospital labs, medical centers, and laboratory networks. Our products and solutions support healthcare professionals in clinical decision-making from sample to result in a wide field of indications including cardiovascular, hematology, infectious diseases, metabolism, oncology, and women’s health.
Within Global Marketing & Customer Insights, the intern will work for the Roche Academy chapter, specifically within the Products and Solutions team. The Roche Academy supports global affiliates and global commercial roles with learning solutions as they relate to our products, services, selling, marketing, and communication skills. We are looking for an Intern to support the team activities and in particular: integration of and updates to Roche Information Solutions (RIS) learning content; specifically content at the pre-commercial development stage which will help enable markets to understand, communicate, and sell the value of our diagnostic IT solutions. In this internship, you will support the team with a specific project.
This internship position is Fully Remote
Key Responsibilities
Transition software learning library video format to simplified 2-pager reference cards
Critically audit existing videos
Meticulously document deviations and necessary updates with a focus on providing learning value to marketing and sales roles
Author/design-related job aids using an existing template
Execute learning needs analysis interviews for 3 key products; provide a summary of needs for 2025
Collaborate with our learning consultants to develop a test standard work approach
Guide how we identify learning needs
Support and contribute to the development and update of marketing materials and assets including recommendations for content placement within the existing internal training website
Program Highlights
Intensive 12-week, full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship
Program start dates are flexible: May/June (Summer)
A stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship
Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects
Work with some of the most talented people in the biotechnology industry
Who You Are
Required Education; you meet one of the following criteria:
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s Degree (enrolled student)
- Must have attained a Bachelor's or Master’s Degree
Required majors: Business Administration Learning & Development, Marketing, International Marketing, or Communications
To be successful in this role, your profile includes the following required skills:
Independent self-starter, reliable, and precise working style
Comfortable with foundational digital concepts like cloud-based computing, communications, or mobile technologies
Communication and presentation skills and fluency in written and spoken English are required; additional languages are welcome
Preferred qualifications:
Working in a multicultural environment and engaging with global colleagues in affiliates
Understanding of or interest in adult education or business processes would be a plus
An interest in healthcare would be an asset
