SDP & VM Executive (1-year contract)

Job description

MAIN PURPOSE

The SDP & VM Executive role is crucial in ensuring the consistent and impactful representation of Panerai across all boutiques and retail partners in the Southeast Asia and Oceania region. The position reports into the Marketing Director and is responsible for visual merchandising, upholding the brand image, collaborating with both internal stakeholders and suppliers, as well as leading store design planning projects. Enhance overall in-store experience to drive sales through strategic presentation of products and best-in-class visual merchandising.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Implement consistent VM strategies for all boutiques and retail partners across SEAO, to ensure boutiques effectively showcase products and create an engaging client experience.
·  This role is focused on bringing the brand’s vision to life via compelling product displays, store layouts, events support and partnerships with malls and retail partners.
·  Proactively review in store VM and make recommendations to enhance visual merchandising to drive sales, awareness and local commercial objectives.
·  Support new stores construction/renovation end-to-end processes that align with the brand’s identity, in partnership with HQ and regional SDP Project Manager.

 

Visual Merchandising (70% of role)

·  Planning and implementation of new window & showcase animations across all Panerai stores in the region while maintaining brand’s overall identity consistency.
·  Work closely with Retail Team to explore Mall visibility opportunities for suggestions to drive traffic/sales to store.
·  Cascade HQ VM guidelines to all boutiques and ensure timely local implementation, ensure relevance and consistency in SEAO.
·  Ensure all brand & festive campaigns assets are consistently implemented across the boutiques.
·  Coordinate with mall landlords on VM approval for implementation and maintenance.
·  Liaison with local vendors and contractors in various SEAO markets for VM changes or implementation. Coordinate with boutiques to refresh store VM stories on quarterly basis. Arrange night works.
·  Regularly audit VM execution to ensure brand consistency and optimal presentation across all touchpoints, displays and decorative items to be aligned with VM guidelines.
·  Manage and track budget effectively, ensuring cost-efficiency and optimal resource allocation.
·  Partner with commercial team to anticipate stocks arrival / availability and modify product displays to highlight key launches or seasonal collections.
·  Regional inventory planning for PLV and POSM order & movement, ensuring sufficient stock availability.
·  Train and guide boutique staff on how to maintain visual standards and adhere to guidelines.
·  Prepare regular VM reports and performance, regional feedback and competitor insights for future VM strategies.
·  Provide POSM / PLV logistics and VM assets support for marketing events.

 

Project Management & Store Design Planning (30% of role)

·  Effective project management to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget which includes project timelines, tracking progress and managing resources.
·  Partner with commercial team and coordinate with Asia Project Manager, millworker and local General Contractor to ensure smooth execution of New Openings and Renovation projects.
·  Meet store opening deadlines while keeping project within CAPEX budget.
·  Coordinate with HQ for development of store floor plans, selecting appropriate materials & lighting, fixtures.
·  Coordinate end-to-end process of store construction/renovation.
·  Manage relationships with external partners ie. landlords for approval and vendors for sourcing materials, furniture and display elements.
·  Work closely with HQ on PLV/POSM planning and decorative items for store opening.
·  Keep management aware of CAPEX to ensure alignment with finance controller and HQ.
·  Stay abreast of current trends in luxury retail, visual merchandising and store designs, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.

 

 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

·  3 years of experience in visual merchandising / SDP required.
·  Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.
·  Organised, detail oriented and can multi-task, including planning, executing and reviewing in timely manner.
·  Project management experience.
·  Ability to understand sales trends and clients’ behaviour to optimise store layouts and displays.
·  Is a team player, self-motivated and agile with ability to work autonomously.
·  Strong collaboration with other teams – retail and commercial team.
·  Familiar with design software (Adobe Creative Suite) and desktop publishing is a plus.
