PRIMARY DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary Duties:
· Perform Quality Control and associated activities in the NY Logistics Platform for High-Jewerly and Watches
· Perform quality control, identify discrepancies and root causes. Take picture of damaged pieces. Process proper QC flow in SAP
· Handle pieces within prescribed parameters and standards within the platform
· Maintain and update QC specifications for each concerned Maison according to their needs
· Maintain continuous communication about QC status with the team and our Maisons.
· Ensure follow-up of pieces with Maisons and Workshops
· Contribute to QC performance, analyze and suggest corrective actions related to QC KPI and participate in continuous improvement within the platform
· Manage the supply stock necessary for the QC activity
· Conduct physical stock inventory counts as per physical inventory schedule and analyze discrepancies
· Manage any punctual projects assigned by Management
SECONDARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Provide support to the Logistics function at our NY Logistics Platform
· Timely processing of stock transfers into and out of NY Platform, in SAP, for all sales networks
· Work closely with the Import / Export specialist for all export shipments processed from NY Platform
· Receive from carriers new packages and deliver to carriers all outgoing shipments per existing schedules
· Ensure appropriate packaging for the products being shipped and perform shipments following RNA standards and policies
· Escort visitors in the platform as necessary.
Education:
Diploma in horology, jewerly and/or gemology a plus
Required Experience:
· Experience in horology and/or jewerly and/or gemology or experience as a quality controller in other industry
· General awareness for handling high value pieces
Technical Skills / Abilities:
· Knowledge in Quality Control
· Knowledge of high-jewelry and/or high-end watches/complication watches a plus
· SAP EWM experience is a plus
· MS Word, MS Excel, PPT
· Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
