Job description

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

 

· 
Work closely with General Manager and Retail team to develop Hong Kong, Macau & Taiwan’s merchandising plan for the Retail and Wholesale Business. Review seasonal assortments (collections) relative to the merchandise plan and ensure they can meet company targets

· 
Keep Retail team informed of key global product initiatives. Liaise with involved parties to ensure those initiatives are launched according to agreed plan

· 
Maintain excellent working relationship with design and merchandising teams in HQ and share with them regularly on markets’ product feedback (bestsellers, sales mix, sales trend, qualitative feedback, missing opportunities, clientele etc)

· 
Provides core and seasonal product knowledge support to Retail & Wholesale business to drive sales and service and generate excitement within our sales channels

· 
Coordinate with Retail team and General Manager on pricing, mark-up, markdown and sell-thru targets for the region

· 
Drive continuous improvement of Merchandising systems and processes (sales and sell-through analysis; OTB management; sales modelling and forecasting; hindsight studies; style and size analysis; competitive/market intelligence; pricing research) to optimize the business opportunities

· 
Work closely with HQ, warehouse, boutiques to ensure all replenishments and allocations be prepared in an accurate and timely manner

· 
Confirm shipment release from Forwarder and HQ to review and cross check shipment invoices and credit note follow-ups

· 
Trend presentation and seasonal collection training & workshops

· 
Initiate & monitor rebalancing or regrouping

· 
Prepare regular merchandise reports and analysis for management review

· 
Lead and work closely with retail team on quality matters & after-sales-services; including distribution of sales-related materials and spare parts management, defectives follow-ups etc

· 
Monitor and report quality issue to relevant parties

· 
Ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

 

· 
Degree holder with at least 3 years working experience in related field

· 
Outgoing, positive and can multi-task

· 
Detail-minded and sensitive to figures

· 
Able to work independently

· 
Good learning ability and diligent

· 
Good team player, capable administer and able to work independently

· 
Excellent written and spoken English plus Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)

· 
Proficient in using MS Word, Outlook and Strong skillset on Excel is a MUST
