Context Richemont is a leader in the luxury industry, encompassing 24 renowned luxury Maisons and businesses, from watches and jewellery to fashion and accessories. Within Richemont, Group Marketing is a dynamic and international department supporting the Maisons, Online Distributors and the Group on their marketing strategies. More specifically, the Marketing Intelligence Department’s mission is to provide a 360° view of the luxury market and clients. Within the Competitor Intelligence practice, and under the responsibility of a Senior Market intelligence Analyst, we are looking for a Market Intelligence Analyst Intern. Role The position provides an excellent opportunity to develop a strong understanding of the luxury market (competitors strategies and industry trends) as well as a broader strategic skillset required to work in marketing (project management, quantitative and qualitative studies, performance analysis and reporting). The daily work spans a very wide scope in terms of product categories, geographies, topics, and internal stakeholders at both HQ and market level. Within this environment, the Market Intelligence Analyst Intern will contribute to the following missions:
•Ensure marketing data collection meets quality standards
•Process and analyse data from various sources for competitor benchmark purposes (distribution networks, auctionresults, price positioning, tourism dynamics, etc.)
•Contribute to key reports and analyses focusing on market dynamics and competitor strategies
•Design custom studies alongside the analysts to meet ad-hoc requests
•Monitor the latest news in the luxury industry daily; curate and write articles for a bi-monthly newsletter sent to over3,000 people within the Group
Profile
•You are fluent in English. French is a plus
•You are interested in the luxury industry and wish to strengthen your knowledge
•You are proficient with Excel and PowerPoint and you are comfortable with figures
•You can easily multi-task, consolidate and summarise information from varied sources
•You are highly detail–oriented, efficient, autonomous and have strong time keeping skills
•You are passionate, proactive and have a persistent approach and attitude
