Job description

MAIN PURPOSES:

Reporting to Commercial Director - Japan, the key objectives of this position are to define and implement the retail people training and development strategy for Jaeger-LeCoultre within the Maison’s strategic business plan for Japan market, to nurture the service excellence and enhance client experience in our DTC network (Internal boutiques, External boutiques, CRC teams), towards our Wholesale partner and toward Gaishos

Also  to develop retail training initiatives & learning experience to grow the teams in line with our vision and mission.

The person will be a brand ambassador, essential to the team.

Drive People Excellence

·  Grow a strong performance culture in line with our business vision and mission in the region
·  Identify opportunities and optimize performance by working closely with Markets
·  Infuse Retail Excellence mindset across the region to enhance performance
·  Build a mid term to long term plan for retail team development and growth in terms of skills and competences
·  Become a business partner & key contributor on global and regional projects
·  Promote regional learning and drive best practices sharing

Retail People Coaching

·  Coaches POS (management) staff with regards to KPI management, sales target achievement, relationship building, CRM and customer experience
·  Establish strong partnerships with Commercial/Retail Manager, Boutique Managers to secure day to day coaching follow up while providing guidance and support
·  Grow expertise and develop retail related competencies within the teams
·  Empower local teams to support and grow performance, improve customer experience and communicate values and culture of the Maison

 

Wholesale Partner training

·  Ensure our partners have both the product and the brand selling ceremony understanding. A partner selling Jaeger Lecoultre shall be a Jaeger Lecoultre ambassador.

 

Gaishos and VIP

 

·  Very important part of the job will be to advocate the brand towards Gaishos

 

Retail team Training and Development

·  Drive in-class, in-boutique & digital training programs implementation & individual coaching to enhance skills, performance & motivation: Maison history, knowledge & luxury culture; clienteling /selling ceremony; key profiles empowerment and retail management upskilling
·  Maintain detailed reporting of all trainings, follow up on individual training path/journey, monitor the efficiency of training and achievements while personalizing development action plans
·  Define yearly retail training & development roadmap, in line with HQ and market strategic priorities, build a mid to long term vision for retail team growth & development
·  Plan and executive a Maison onboarding program for new joiners in the region, in compliance with HQ guidelines
·  Build and animate a training community of brand ambassadors

 

Additional task

·  Improve retail sales performance and experience as well as improve people development of all channels
