Inventory Coordinator
Richemont Regional Distribution Center | Grand Prairie, TX
Role Overview
The Inventory Coordinator will work closely with the Inventory Manager and Operations Supervisors, overseeing and researching inventory control processes within our luxury retail distribution center. This role ensures the efficient and accurate management of high-value goods, maintaining the highest standards of inventory accuracy, security, and operational efficiency. Effective communication with internal teams and external stakeholders, including our prestigious brands/Maisons, is critical for resolving discrepancies and maintaining inventory integrity. This role also involves outbound audits and supporting operational activities.
Responsibilities
· Inventory Accuracy & Cycle Counting: Ensure all bins are counted, and recounts are researched and posted in a timely manner. Conduct cycle counts according to established schedules and procedures.
· Discrepancy Research & Resolution: Perform thorough and objective research on inventory discrepancies, documenting findings according to quantity, value, and product segment criteria. Share findings with leadership to discuss conclusions and root cause analysis.
· Reporting: Perform Monthly Extraction by Department and distribute reports.
· Communication & Collaboration: Serve as the point of contact for brands/Maisons MDM team. Communicate with internal teams. Manage the Inventory Control mailbox, responding in a timely manner, responding accurately, and following up as necessary.
· SOPs & Continuous Improvement: Adhere and update the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for inventory. Participate in daily audits.
· Safety & Housekeeping : Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety protocols. Ensure inventory discrepancy areas are organized, researched, and resolved.
· System Participation: Participate in SAP/EWM system checks.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Relevant experience in inventory or distribution center operations.
· Understanding of Logistics processes (Inbound, Outbound, Returns, etc.) a plus.
· Experience with Warehouse Management systems; SAP experience a plus.
· Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
· Forklift certification a plus.
· Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
· Revised: Intermediate communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; Spanish is a plus.
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
