Quality Supervisor

Job description

To strengthen our Quality at each stage of the finished product, we are looking for a Quality Supervisor based in Scandicci (FI), close to our Industrial teams (Development and Industrialization) and manufacturers. In this position she/he will manage quality of materials and finished products from the Pre-Production phase of the finished products to the aftersales. In this role, she/he will report to the LG, Shoes & fashion accessories manager and will collaborate with the Industrialization and Production teams, with manufacturers and with Aftersales teams worldwide.

 

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?

You’ll be in charge of:

 

Quality in Pre-Production phase:

·  Participation in technical reviews (remove defects, supporting risks analysis follow-up in collaboration with Industrial departments and suppliers)
·  Finished product tests coordination and quality tolerance definition for production

 

Quality in Production:

·  Validation of Masters/TDS in collaboration with Industrialization team and definition of tolerances for the production
·  Approval of In line production process, validating the first finished products batch and releasing quality report
·  Management of Quality control planning and invoices
·  Go/ No go of quality approval for the production batches shipments
·  Releasing of Production quality KPI for monitoring product performance (analysis and report to Brand Management and suppliers)
·  Continuous improvement of the quality processes at suppliers/ manufacturers

 

Aftersales:

·  Support to network by before and after sales claims management
·  Management of Quality alerts with Network and manufacturers

 

 

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?

 

·  3/ 5 years of experiences in Quality (continuous improvement, Quality inspection management) within the Fashion & Luxury sector
·  Ability to Problem Solving (quality alerts management or quality problems during production phase), time management and adaptability
·  Excellent technical knowledge of the production cycle (development and production processes)
·  Availability for travel within Italy and Europe
·  Good Knowledge of Excel and office package, ERP/ PLM tolls (knowledge of SAP will be considered a Plus)
·  Excellent knowledge of the English language (written and spoken)
·  Proactivity and ability to interact with internal and external company stakeholders
