To support the growth and ambitions of the Maison, the new Merchandising department will have as its main missions to improve the effectiveness of the visible offer and the performance of the different product categories with the objective of sales development and strengthening the image of the Maison.

In close collaboration with the different central teams (Marketing Development and Clients, Commercial, Supply, Finance, Visual Merchandising and Store Design Planning), the Merchandising team deploys the product strategy and translates it into concrete actions. The merchandising team acts as a key support to the regions in the implementation and execution of their action plans.

KEY MISSIONS :

As Merchandising Senior Project manager, you will be instrumental in leading complex, cross-category and all network merchandising projects.

You will be responsible for driving and structuring our merchandising processes, defining new ways of working and developing the data acumen for the department.

You thrive in ambiguous context, demonstrate constant agility and you are passionate about implementing operational excellence and data-driven decisions.

360 Merchandising project management:

  • You have a cross-functional view of the business and all product categories, and you can extract insights from your cross analysis.
  • Ability to synthesize and present key insights to the senior leadership, you lead reporting and presentations needs for the merchandising team.
  • Implement robust project planning, methodologies, KPI and tools tailored to an evolving merchandising framework.
  • Support end-to-end projects for strategic merchandising cross-category initiatives, from brainstorming to execution.
  • Ability to manage a budget and prioritize accordingly

Process Structuring & department optimization:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define, document, and optimize new merchandising processes, workflows and data knowledge, formalizing best practices for the department.
  • In collaboration with the category merchandiser, streamline and uniformize KPIs and vocabulary across all categories.
  • Handling cross-functional data analysis and data quality continuous improvement.
  • Challenge existing practices and propose innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Establish clear governance models and reporting mechanisms for the department.
  • Connect the dot between departments, seek for constant feedback to support team growth and implementation.

Change Management

  • Act as a key change agent, fostering adoption of new processes and ways of working across various departments involved.
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication, alignment on project goals, and shared ownership of outcomes.
  • Facilitate workshops, presentations, and training sessions to foster a culture of continuous improvement and data enthusiast community.

  • High knowledge of PowerPoint, Thinkcell or other presentation and visualisation tools.
  • Able to work with large data set, you have a foundational to advanced understanding of Data Governance.
  • Proficiency in Looker and analytical tools (Excel, SAP analysis, dashboarding), PBI is a plus.
  • A hands-on approach, eager to build strategic initiatives from scratch.
  • Ability to balance strategic priorities with operational delivery, to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possesses strong organizational skills

JOB PROFILE:

Experience: 3-5 years experience

Languages: French, English

Travel: Frequent travel to Switzerland (1/month)
