We are seeking a highly inquisitive individual who owns and manages Web Analytics & Business Intelligence at HQs International E-Commerce team in Hamburg, Germany.
With an hands-on attitude to transform data into insights and actionable opportunities, the E-Commerce Manager (Web Analytics & Business Intelligence) will support the commercial success of Montblanc’s global E-Commerce within a dynamic environment in which decisions are driven by data.
He or she will work within the interdisciplinary International E-Commerce team and collaborate with stakeholders across the company and in the local markets in order to support the business on its path to growth.
Main Tasks:
· Define and develop reporting frameworks for measuring, benchmarking, and analyzing E-Commerce data across the customer journey
· Ensure thorough comprehension of business goals and strategies, identifying commercial opportunities through data insights (e.g. traffic acquisition, merchandising, feature design)
· Define data integration across a range of analytics tools and databases
· Manage web analytics tagging efforts to ensure accurate data capture
· Maintain a close working relationship with E-Commerce Product Owners and stakeholders in Montblanc’s international markets
· Contribute to the definition and ongoing evaluation of data and analytics roadmaps and KPI, as a key stakeholder
· Manage agencies, third-party providers and business partners to optimize performance and delivery (with focus also on technical SEO)
· Act as data evangelist for our business, being a subject matter expert on industry trends, advancements, and best practices
Requirements:
· Minimum 2-4 years of experience in digital analytics, data management, or business intelligence, in a direct-to-consumer digital business (e.g. Fashion, Beauty, FMCG, Lifestyle, Travel E-Commerce)
· Focus in generating data insights and defining commercial recommendations liaising with internal stakeholders (ability to present ideas rather than figures from data)
· Well-versed in interpreting business objectives and synthesizing relevant data, with keen attention to visual data representation and storytelling,
· Deep knowledge of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and hands-on experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau
· Thorough understanding of tag management solutions, data management and SQL querying
· Working knowledge of technical SEO is a plus
· Working knowledge of SAP R/3 and BOA is a plus
· A great team player who can collaborate with cross-functional and multi-cultural stakeholders, internally and externally
· An organized “doer” with exceptional multitasking skills; take initiative to make things happen
· Able to thrive in a fast paced environment
· Proficient knowledge of English
· Willingness to occasional travel
