Job description

We are seeking a dynamic Internal Communications and Events Intern to support our Head of Internal Communications. In this role, you will play a vital part in planning employee events and engagement activities, crafting compelling internal communications content, and managing our local employee discount scheme. This twelve-month internship offers hands-on experience in internal communications, employee engagement and event planning. 

 

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT: 

Content Creation & Communication: 

· 
Create engaging local news stories about our Maisons, including content creation and stakeholder approvals. 

· 
Develop and maintain strategic communication plans, aligning with the broader internal communications schedule. 

· 
Draft and produce high-quality internal communications content (copy, multimedia, and visuals). 

· 
Utilise internal platforms to analyse communications activity and populate KPI dashboards. 

Event Planning & Coordination: 

· 
Assist in the planning and coordination of internal events, including logistics and vendor coordination. 

· 
Research, propose, and book event elements (venues, speakers, catering, travel, etc.). 

· 
Liaise with PR and internal stakeholders to maintain a calendar of relevant events. 

· 
Coordinate team volunteering days with our charity partners. 

Employee Engagement & Administration: 

· 
Research and negotiate local employee discounts, maintaining an up-to-date database. 

· 
Provide administrative support, including data entry, calendar management, platform updates, file management, and budget tracking. 

 

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US? 

· 
Enrolled in or recently graduated with a degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field. 

· 
Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills. 

· 
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. 

· 
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint). 

· 
Experience with digital design tools (e.g., Canva) is a plus. 

· 
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills. 

· 
Comfortable working with senior stakeholders. 

· 
Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills. 

· 
Ability to work independently and take initiative. 

· 
Event planning or internal communications experience is a plus.
