MAIN PURPOSE
The Head of Financial Reporting and Tax is responsible for the monthly , quarterly and yearly reporting requirements at both a Statutory and Group level are met, driving synergies and consistencies across all UK market entities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Group and Statutory Reporting
- Responsible for the coordinating and production of the year-end Group and statutory Financial Statements of all the entities in the UK under UK GAAP/IFRS Group standards.
- Support driving process improvements with both internal and external stakeholders,
- Bring efficiency to the organization by implementing software enhancement and others efficiency matters.
- Contributing in defining, rolling out, leading and improving finance processes necessary to produce the Statutory financial statements.
- Build a strong and high-performance team to efficiently manage all finance operations while ensuring strong and transparent communication throughout the UK market and Group stakeholders.
Tax
- Responsible for all tax filings, tax returns, tax audits and contact with local tax authorities. Inform brands, shared service functions and Global Tax department in case of changes in local tax rules. Provide tax intelligence to entities in scope.
- Responsible for the coordination and preparation of all the SAO & CCO reports.
- Continuously seek for areas of improvement of tax structure and tax payments.
- Responsible for the tax actual for Q2, Q3, and YE.
- Lead in the coordination of the consolidation of the UK tax reporting,
- Liaise and coordinate with external stakeholders / Tax firms. Constantly review external tax services in scope.
Reporting and statutory Audits
- Responsible for the reporting and statutory audits process in the UK for all the entities in scope.
- Responsible for obtaining a clean audit opinion from the Group’s external auditors and, during the audit, responsible for coordinating any information required by the Group’s external auditors.
- Responsible for the liasing with Group Internal Auditors, during their audits of finance controls under scope.
- Coordinate with the UK Statutory and Taxation Director, the Group Tax Director, third party tax advisers and the UK appointed auditors.
Internal Control Systems (ICS)
- For the processes and controls under scope, provide support for all compliance tasks, testings, walk throughs and ICS reporting, audits and ICS reviews. Ensure segregation of duties and mitigating controls as well as proper system access controls.
- Training on Group Procedures and technical knowledge
- Full knowledge of the Richemont Group Finance policies and procedures and of IAS standards that are applicable to Richemont local entities. GAAP difference (UK/IFRS).
- Shared Responsibility with entity FD/Accounting heads for training all Company staff on these Group Finance policies and procedures / IAS standards, as appropriate, considering staff’s respective job descriptions
Miscellaneous
- Help with various other centralised tasks e.g. insurances, treasury, HSBC platform administration, cash pool, etc…
- Being the single point of contact for cross entities projects

- 8 Legal entities under direct responsibility.
- 6 Legal entities under coordination.
- Responsible for Financial Reporting Department.
