YOUR MISSION:Assist the department in their daily activities. Perform some day-to-day administration and communication of Logistics related tasks.
HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
- Oversee the transportation and distribution of goods and supplies for a medium-sized organization, utilizing established procedures; evaluate and propose enhancements to ensure timely delivery.
- Attain specific objectives within the designated area by adhering to a supplier management plan or identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Execute planning activities within a defined framework/system, considering dependencies on other processes/units.
- Lead cost reduction and savings initiatives, ensuring the implementation of cost-saving measures while maintaining quality standards.
- Conduct research using primary data sources, selecting pertinent information for analyzing key themes and trends.
- Provide expert advice on interpreting and applying policies and procedures, resolving queries and issues, and escalating complex or contentious matters as necessary.
- Manage daily transportation of goods and supplies, following established procedures; review and recommend improvements to ensure timely delivery.
- Support production troubleshooting efforts, aiding in the swift and accurate identification, analysis, and resolution of production issues.
- Collaborate with other professional teams and across organizational boundaries to ensure cohesive and seamless support for service users.
- Develop personal capabilities through participation in assessment and development planning activities, formal and informal training, and coaching; pursue or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to enhance performance and fulfill personal potential.
- Stay informed about relevant technology, external regulations, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level.
- Experience sufficient to handle most situations and provide guidance to others.
- Basic experience in coordinating the work of others.
