Event Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITES

Event Management

  • Design and co-develop and execute annual event planning aligned with company strategy and business objectives
  • Collaborate with project leaders for event execution from concept development to post-event evaluation (boutique openings, pop-ups, high-end events, in-boutique activations, press and client events)
  • Prepare event briefs, oversee creative development with agencies, and supervise production quality
  • Manage on-site execution, troubleshoot issues, assess risks, and implement contingency plans
  • Deliver post-event reports with performance evaluation and insights shared with teams
  • Manage agency & Budget Ensure all creative is delivered to required schedules and deadlines within budget.

Client & Brand Experience

  • Design and deliver distinctive, luxury brand experiences tailored to clients, press, and consumers
  • Build strong understanding of target audiences to create meaningful emotional connections with the Maison

Visual Merchandising (VM) Management

  • Support and implement seasonal VM animations in line with global standards and local adaptations
  • Coordinate creative proposals, production agencies, and quality control of VM installations
  • Conduct regular boutique visits to ensure VM excellence, maintenance, and business relevance
  • Prepare post-installation reports and synchronize with regional / global VM teams

Budget & Stakeholder Management

  • Co-work with budget holders for event and VM budgets, ensuring cost transparency, efficiency, and compliance
  • Oversee PO creation, vendor payments, and financial tracking
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders, partners, agencies, and HQ to ensure consistent execution

Market Intelligence & Innovation

  • Monitor luxury market trends, competitor activities, and best practices in events and VM
  • Propose innovative concepts, new venues, and creative ideas to elevate brand visibility

Team & Project Leadership (where applicable)

  • Lead, develop, and motivate the event team to deliver high-quality outcomes
  • Oversee project timelines, resources, and deliverables across multiple initiatives
  • Foster strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and headquarters

PROFILE & REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

Education: University Degree

Professional Experience: 2-5+ years of event management experience; luxury retail experience preferred. Proven success managing complex events and multi-stakeholder projects. Team management experience is a plus

  • Solid experience in Event/Pop up management and VM is required
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities
  • Budget management and cost-control mindset
  • Problem-solving and risk management capability
  • Customer-centric, business-oriented, and creative thinking
  • High integrity, accountability, and team spirit

Languages:

  • Native in Mandarin
  • Fluency in English
