The Data & AI Governance Engineer will play a pivotal role in driving our data-driven decision-making capabilities on our unified Data Platform. He/she will be responsible for overseeing the development and management of our data platform quality and robustness, ensuring the delivery of cutting-edge data solutions that empower our business with valuable insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Stakeholder Partnership & Communication
Act as the primary bridge between the Data Office and its internal stakeholders - Maison and Group.
Translate Platform changes and technical updates into clear, actionable insights for Cartier stakeholders.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to resolve data issues, connecting the right people and driving solutions forward.
Governance & Enablement
Ensure a smooth and thorough deployment of our operating model across Domains and Regions (data quality, documentation, access management etc.).
Onboard and train internal teams on data governance principles and best practices.
Monitor the adherence of our operating model to the target over time, provide regular update on achievement vs target.
Ensure that the deployment of Cartier AI initiatives are in line with the validated corporate framework.

Data Platform Operations and continuous improvement
Ensure a smooth run of daily operations on our data platform (Incident management, quality assurance etc.).
Proactively bring initiatives, encourage sharing of best practices, in a continuous improvement mindset.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Management, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in the data or analytics domain.
Strong understanding of data platforms, analytics tools, and technologies, such as cloud-based data warehouses, SQL, Python, or visualization tools (Looker).
Experience working with Agile methodologies and management tools (e.g. Jira).
Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and drive consensus across cross-functional teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices, ensuring data security and compliance is a plus.
English speaking, French is a plus.
