HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
As the driving force for Panerai in the Netherlands and Scandinavia, you will be instrumental in supporting and accelerating sales and visibility growth, firmly establishing Panerai as a leader in luxury watchmaking. Your mission will involve sharpening Panerai's footprint by strategically designing the distribution network, enhancing profitability, and implementing advanced retailization tools at our retail partners to achieve ambitious sales targets. You will hold full P&L responsibilities across Sales, Marketing, and Operations, critically piloting the region's financial success. As the local Brand Ambassador, you will lead partner and client activations, cultivate a robust network of business partners, and embrace a transversal role, engaging with both internal stakeholders and external Press & Media representatives.
Key responsibilities:
Drive Sales & Distribution Network Development:
- Manage and expand external Boutique and wholesale Partner relationships, acting as the Panerai ambassador to foster market growth.
- Monitor the distribution network, define budgets per point of sale (POS), implement specific action plans, and establish dedicated performance dashboards.
- Lead business activities through regular meetings, communicate targets and KPIs, and develop activation plans to meet budget goals.
- Motivate and challenge sales teams to achieve and exceed targets.
- Implement comprehensive retailization tools, including assortment and stock management, ordering processes, CRM activations, marketing and communication plans, and training initiatives.
Cultivate Business Opportunities & Local Partnerships:
- Build and expand a strong business partner network, continuously seeking new opportunities and developing lasting relationships.
- Design bespoke client experience platforms for dedicated business partners who share Panerai's values.
- Drive partner activation strategies, targeting new clients and collaborating closely with retail teams.
- Leverage Panerai Manufacture Visits and Panerai Boutiques as premier client experience platforms.
- Define and achieve client data capture targets through strategic business partner activations.
Implement Local Marketing & Communication Strategy:
- Collaborate with the Marketing & Communication Director to adapt and implement the global strategy to local market needs, aligned with defined targets.
- Ensure strong brand visibility at Boutique and POS levels, adhering to visual merchandising and visibility guidelines.
- Build robust relationships with Media & Press, leveraging local partners and networks.
Strategic Planning & P&L Management
- Lead one team member, providing support for business operations, marketing, and administrative tasks.
- Drive and present market strategy through business reviews and meetings to Senior Management.
- Assume full P&L responsibility for the region, working in close collaboration with local Finance and HR departments.
HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?
- Proven track record in sales and business development within the luxury industry, ideally in watchmaking, with a focus on the Netherlands and Scandinavian markets.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and expanding distribution networks, driving retail performance, and implementing retailization strategies.
- Strong P&L management capabilities and a strategic mindset for market planning and execution.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills, capable of fostering strong connections with external partners, media, and internal stakeholders.
- Experience in developing and implementing effective local marketing and communication strategies.
- Ability to act as a compelling Brand Ambassador, representing Panerai with passion, expertise, and integrity.
- Leadership experience, including managing and developing a small team.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and inspire.
- Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in Dutch or a Nordic language would be a significant advantage.
