Job Title: Gaisho Manager
Department: Retail Department

Reports to: Retail Director
MAIN PURPOSE
The position is expected to lead and develop Gaisho business within Chloe organization aligning with business strategy and goals of Chloe, and propose and continuously sustain healthy and active Gaisho customer base for business sustainability and growth by achieving customer satisfaction, as well as creating bridges between Gaisho team in department stores/Gaisho customer and Chloe. Also, this position is expected to execute business plan through cross functional collaboration to maximize Gaisho sales.
Reporting to Retail Director and following HQ instructions and guidelines, communicating with CRM team, organizes, directs and coordinates Gaisho relations activities. This position also requires working closely with Retail team, boutiques across Japan and CRM.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Build a broader and strong Gaisho network:
- Manage and execute regular & ad-hoc Gaisho loyalty actions by conducting necessary tasks such as customer data handling, contents/material preparation, vendor management, result tracking.
- Ensure Gaisho activity/project coordination with other teams and departments (Boutiques, Retail, Marketing, PR, etc.) and HQ.
- Negotiate with the department store to secure large and better space for Gaisho event.
New Gaisho Customer Recruitment:
- Manage projects for new Gaisho customer recruitment actions such as collaboration with department stores.
Gaisho sales plans & tools and loyalty program:
- Shares information related to Gaisho Activities and strategy with BTQs through relevant internal platforms.
- Measure impact, analyze results of Gaisho related events and propose recommendations for the future.
- Monitors and communicates results of all Gaisho activities.
Gaisho Client treatment plans & tools:
- Leads the overall Gaisho treatment strategy across departments.
- Creates customized Gaisho treatment plans (events, activities, etc.) both to recruit new clients and to support sales associates in treating existing Gaisho clients.
Training and Follow up
- Guide and train Chloe staff with Store manager, to create new ideas and correct ideas for Gaisho activities, and to acquire top clients thru Gaisho activities.
- Promote the Chloe Value in department stores, mentor and develop staff to expand the local share of Gaisho business.
Inter-department coordination
- Work closely with relevant Departments like Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Marketing & Communications in order to develop appropriate MD, communication channels, and create an elevated environment
QUALIFICATIONS
- Over 2 years Gaisho activities experience in Clienteling department or in Boutique, in the luxury fashion industry.
- Experience facing and interacting with clients
- Analytical skills with creative thinking and business acumen.
- Native level Japanese language skill, Business level English language skill is a plus.
- Good computer literacy in Microsoft Office is a plus.
