As the regional HR Business Partner for the North, you will be a strong operational leader who fully understands the importance of delivering success through people. You will be the link for all HR organisational and personnel issues and execute HR solutions to strategically address problems and serve as a trusted advisor on all HR concerns. Focusing on succession planning and driving the people agenda through the identification of talent and managing the talent pipeline therefore creating and managing a process to support talent release for domestic and cross border

Working closely with your Area managers and Regional controllers you will provide professional leadership to in-store People & Culture (P&C) Managers to raise the benchmark on the professional profile and skills of your P&C colleagues.

You will help to implement Primark’s long term strategic plan, with particular focus on managing local issues and sharing best practice, you will support, Influence, and drive the People & Culture strategy and objectives through coaching/supporting and challenging the retail teams.

You will lead the delivery of organisational change and act as a champion for change in business projects and manage these projects with a high degree of complexity, including organisational redesign and other initiatives.
In conjunction with the Head of P&C for the UK, you will drive the people KPIs and measures through insight-led decision making. Aligning the P&C plans with business objectives, you will share with the Director/Controller/Head of People and Culture, accountability for employee performance and partner with recruitment and retail teams to deliver the workforce plan.
You will be proactive in the identification and delivery of learning and development requirements across the region in partnership with the central team
