Role: Packaging Coordinator Home & Lifestyle Departments

Purpose of role:  To work within the Brand team in conjunction with the Buying teams to ensure all packaging needs (hard and soft goods) across Home and Lifestyle (Primarket) Departments are executed effectively, project managed through to delivery, ensuring they are on brand, accurate, relevant & compliant.

This role will aim to continually explore opportunities that will improve our packaging offering

Reports to :Marketing Planning Manager

Location : Dublin

Key Responsibilities

Packaging Design and Innovation 
·  Working in conjunction with the Buying teams at product development stage on the style of packaging ensuring that it is specific for each product
·  Manage the translations for all packaging to ensure these are accurate
·  Responsible for ensuring all packaging is appropriately spell checked and accurate before orders are placed
·  Work with buying teams on packaging for new product categories, ensuring the Buying team are fully supported in a timely manner
·  Working with the brand artwork team to brief new packaging concepts and designs  
Working Cross Functionally
·  Work cross functionally and across the supplier base on specific projects including; inner carton packaging to ensure this reduces breakages and has minimal wastage
·  Working in conjunction with the sustainable packaging team to ensure our packaging is sustainable
·  Working with packaging and labelling co-ordinator to deliver fashion collections with same packaging across several suppliers, including colour matching, quality matching and ensuring that it sits with the brand direction from central packaging team.
·  Work cross functionally with legal and food tech to ensure all packaging is legally compliant and is appropriately placed on the packaging Continuous Improvement
·  Continually working to ensure that we use the smartest approach to packaging as possible, including removing excess packaging where possible 
·  Ensuring there is consistency of packaging quality across our suppliers Knowledge, skills experience:
·  You’ll have experience in packaging in a retail environment with an eye for detail and strong organisation skill
·  Industry experience in a similar role (such as Buying, Packaging, or Procurement) would be preferable
·  Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and responding to tasks with an efficient, can-do attitude
·  Energetic and driven individual with a strong record of driving collaboration, communication and innovatio
·  Intermediate level of Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook
·  Effective and persuasive presentation skills, including the ability to present complex information in an understandable manner to all areas of the business
·  Strong time management and problem-solving skills
·  Excellent attention to detail and an ability to analyse and interrogate high volumes of data as well as demonstrating an ability to focus on higher level overview
·  Proven ability in developing effective working relationships across all levels of the organisation Personal Attributes:
·  Highly organised, detail-oriented, possessing the ability to effectivey priorise projects and deliverables whilst meeting deadlines by management
·  Excellent planning and organisation skills, ability to multi-task, plan and prioritise work schedule for self and team and work within agreed timescales.
·  Open minded to discuss creative ideas with the buying teams and suggest innovation updates to suppliers
·  Be a collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal/communication skills, while demonstrating high levels of emotional intelligence and possess theability to push back with professionalism.
