An Assistant Store Manager’s job at Primark is unlike a Management job at any other retailer, Thanks to the sheer size and scale of Primark, they’re bigger – much, much bigger – than the norm.

It’s like taking full responsibility for a shop within a shop, with a team to lead and inspire. Working alongside the Store Manager you’ll be free to make your own decisions. What stock do you get in? How do you set up your department? Everything to do with delivering a great commercial return will be your show, and you’ll have plenty of support you need when you need it.

You’ll take the lead in understanding our customers, bringing your team’s natural passion for great service to the surface and making sure every customer experience is perfect. Driving sales, keeping stock levels in line with customer demand, making sure displays grab the attention and fostering a hardworking but fun environment in which your team members remain fully engaged will all be part of your role.

It’s not for the faint-hearted. You’ll be calling on all your retail experience. And you’ll be using your fantastic communication, networking and visual merchandising skills – and of course your commercial brain – every single day.
