Your Role :

 

Our Life Sciences is continuously working to empower breakthroughs in life sciences Industry. One of the priorities for us is to drive our key platform technologies in the area of Life Science Biology to our customers. These platforms include Luminex (Multiplexing Technology), SMCxPRo (high-sensitivity Immunoassays), Cell Asics and Auto2D Electrophoresis systems. In this role, the Individual will be responsible for developing the market and driving the growth strategy for these technologies across the South Korea region.

 

Key Accountabilities

·  Provide expert understanding and strong technical competency in discussing our capabilities and product offering with customers
·  Provide application support for pre- and post-sale activities for seminars/products demonstrations to help support the sales team to achieve sales goal
·  Liaise between customer, sales team, product management, and other internal teams including project team, R&D and Production
·  Network with customers and provide feedback to product marketing on customer requirements for new applications or products
·  Provide high level technical support to the customer in discussing and design requirements and providing guidance or input on customers’ experiments
·  Keep informed of competitive market information from seminars, trade shows, conferences and customers’ voices
·  Deliver Technical presentation/seminars and demos to customers
·  Other tasks assigned by your superior. 

 

Who You Are :

 

·  + Master degree (PhD preferred in Protein, immunology or related field, Biology)
·  3-15 years of Client Facing experience  in related field
·  Previous lab experience desired.
·  Must understand and be able to discuss Biology and/or Chemistry with scientific credibility.
·  Must be highly customer-focused; self-starter with passion to seek out new applications and areas for business expansion.
·  Demonstrated verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to work cross-functionally.
·  Must be highly results-oriented to deliver quality work under time pressure/multiple priorities.
·  Ability to develop solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of innovation and collaboration processes.
·  Excellent time management, problem solving and analytical skills.
·  Proficient in using MS office (especially Excel & PowerPoint) and CRM tool (Salesforce.com).
·  Excellent written and spoken skills in English and Korean.
