Your Role:

Syntropy is a platform that empowers scientists and research centers with an outstanding high-value data exchange platform to accelerate science. As part of this digital business venture, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment to help bring our product strategy and vision to life.

The ideal candidate is an accomplished professional in the healthcare, clinical operations, and informatics space.

You will need to be able to guide the organization through implementing solutions focused primarily on making clinical trial design and execution faster and more efficient across the pharmaceutical development and collaboration process. A strong desire to advance the scientific real world evidence drug design process and create a financially viable business is key. Location is flexible throughout the USA.

The Medical Director – EMD Digital will:

·  Develop, test and refine how Syntropy engages with both Academic Medical Centers and Pharma development pipelines
·  Build a pipeline of opportunities to demonstrate how Syntropy makes science faster
·  Collaborate with collages across business development, commercial operations, and product to refine the offer, build development plans and execution strategies
·  Define partnership opportunities that brings the Syntropy solution closer to customers
·  Domestic and international travel expectations of 25%

 

Who you are:

Minimum Qualifications:

·  This position requires a minimum of a master’s level advanced scientific/medical degree (e.g. MD, PhD, PharmD, MPH or other masters level degree)
·  Have 3+ years of clinical development experience in the pharmaceutical industry, per above description, with sound understanding of the overall clinical development process
·  Proven clinical development strategist with experience designing, implementing and conducting clinical trials, with emphasis on proof-of-concept and first-in-human studies
·  A minimum of 6-9 years of combined relevant experience in a medical/clinical environment, scientific function in the pharmaceutical industry is required
·  Trained in aspects of clinical drug development including GCPs, ICH, local regulatory requirements, data privacy laws, and RWE experience
·  Agility to move across varying therapeutic areas and indications
·  Confident in influencing peers across the organization and ability to establish business partner relationships with collaborators
·  Excellent knowledge of study execution, benefit risk management and lifecycle management
·  Strong track record of positive, productive interactions with Medical Experts and Investigators

 

Preferred Qualifications:

·  Has working knowledge of the multi-disciplinary functions involved in a company's drug development process, eg clinical operations, biostatistics, regulatory, commercial, operations, etc
·  Good interpersonal, verbal communication and influencing skills; can influence without authority
