Your Role
You will report to a Supervisor and have general responsibility for coordinating and supervising daily logistics activities to ensure the full and efficient operation of your assigned area. You will work Monday – Friday, 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm, and will be paid weekly at $23.00 per hour.Your Responsibilities
- You will make recommendations to the Warehouse Supervisor on processes to establish goals and improve operations
- Operate material handling equipment
- Direct the activities of warehouse associates
- Help develop processes to ensure the efficient operation and use of all warehouse equipment
- Implement processes to ensure the safety of all personnel, equipment, and property
- Oversee the warehouse housekeeping program
- Ensure current, accurate inventory control and that customer orders are picked and shipped
- Follow health and safety policies that comply with company and OSHA regulations
- Be available to work overtime and weekends
Your Skills and Experiences
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in a warehouse environment with at least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role
- 1+ years of experience with AS400, CIEL or any other WMS (Warehouse Management System)
- PC literate with experience in Microsoft Excel
- Forklift operating experience
- Basic technical and math skills
