Job Description
KN Drinks Logistics is a wholly owned business within the KN group, providing a national platform for the distribution of drinks and associated services to retail outlets across the UK. The Company employs 3000 staff and operates 600 vehicles. These roles involve handling customer merchandise quickly and efficiently, ensuring complete accuracy in order to maintain a high level of service to our customers. All tasks must be dealt with ensuring high levels of productivity and accuracy at all times. Successful applicants will be required to work any 5 from 7, on our rotating shift pattern 0600 – 1400, 1400 – 2200, 2200 – 0600.
Your Tasks and Responsibilities
· To off load produce in a safe and careful manner
· To breakdown inloads and provide accurate information of quantities and product range
· To identify problems, which may occur when booking in stock and take the appropriate action
· To know and understand the layout of the warehouse and become familiar with customer products
· To be able to read and understand a product code and destination using a computerise picking system
· To follow the correct procedure when handling product
· To resolve problems as they arise and inform the relevant Manager
· To prepare despatch orders in an accurate and efficient manner and ensure correct number of consignments is accurately recorded on paperwork
