What we're looking for
Kuehne + Nagel Ltd provide chilled, frozen and ambient products to more than 2,500 Costa Coffee, Premier Inns and associated restaurant chain outlets throughout the UK. Our specialist teams continue to develop and deliver the customers' requirements on this demanding and dynamic contract. We have a great team, that supports each other, and have a key focus on development and supporting career aspirations.
What you'll do:
· Verify and receive goods into stock; Picking goods and stacking products into roll cages and shelving.
· Use MHE to move and store goods within the Warehouse and to assist with packing.
· Use MHE or other designated means to load goods into vehicles.
· Ensure the operation of all MHE is in accordance with operational procedures at all times.
· To use ‘'voice'' to Identify products and pick orders.
· To achieve pick target/KPI as agreed by the company and to ensure principles of good housekeeping are maintained.
· Ensuring that Health & Safety, Food Hygiene Standards, HACCP regulations are followed at all times.
· Working in a tri temperature environment - Freezer, Chilled and Ambient and comply with Food Safety Regulations and CMI Standards
What you'll bring:
· Proven basic math skills at Secondary School level.
· Able to establish priorities and accomplish multiple tasks with supervision.
· Customer Focused.
· Prior work experience in Warehouse environment.
· Ability to work well in a team.
· Good communication skills.
