Your tasks and responsibilities
Summary Job Description: (What will this position do?)
The picker performs a variety of receiving/replenishing/picking/packing/shipping operations using forklift,
clamps, banders, wrappers, and other power equipment to load, unload, move, stack and stage product. Key activities include:
•Full case activities using forklift truck and other equipment as required
•Special process picking
•Supply checking
•RFID scanning and labeling-provide appropriate labeling/invoicing information
per order as defined using radio frequency hand-held devices.
•Yard and dock management receiving
•Receiving and sorting of damaged goods
•Pallet and cart put away inspecting and picking
•Replenishment
•Error resolution replenishment
•Loose goods, PTL, interleave scanning and picking
•Full case scanning, picking, and labeling
•Virtual kitting picking, manifesting, consolidating
•Tote to carton packing
•Shipping
•Execution of back shipments
•Customer returns inspecting, receiving, and communicating
•ANR receiving
•Cold chain picking, packing and shipping
•Perform quality checks on all orders picked/packed for accuracy.
•Conduct physical inventory counts as required.
•Perform housekeeping duties as directed to maintain a safe and clean working
environment
•Any other tasks/projects as assigned by management.
Your skills and experience
Skills and/or Experience:
Must be able to function in a high volume Logistics operation.
Ability to read and count accurately
Ability to do simple math and write legibly
Ability to perform tasks requiring physical abilities.
Must have flexibility / sense of urgency. Take direction and accomplish tasks
quickly and efficiently without sacrificing quality.
Ability to follow policies, SOP's, regulations and legal requirement knowledge.
Ability to produce according to established goals and standards.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum: High School or equivalent
1 to 3 years distribution / warehouse experience required. Experience operating
warehouse equipment to include forklift, hydraulic jack, barcode scanning
equipment strongly preferred.
LANGUAGES
• English
Physical Demands:
Able to lift 50 lbs on a repetitive basis.
Ability to work in a refrigerated environment at 2 to 8 C(35 to 46F) for 2
hours or more at a time.
Ability to work in a freezer at -30 to -20C (-4 to -22F) for up to 1 hour at a
time.
