Technical Product Owner Business Intelligence Overland

Job description
In the role of Technical Product Owner you will be the technical lead for business intelligence and data warehouse solutions provided to our business unit Overland with a strong team of five analysts/developers.
Your Role
In our BI department in Tallinn, we are responsible for Overland Logistics BI solutions. In a highly heterogeneous IT landscape, we bring data together to provide profound reliable base for reporting and visibility for our customers. Together with you, we want to develop a vision on how to bring our BI solutions to the next level.
Your Responsibilities
· Develop a vision on how to bring our BI solutions to the next level and implement the required steps continuously to get there
· Design, supervise implementation and continuous improvement of complex BI solutions working with high volume data
· Assure project deliveries, change request implementations and operations fulfil the needs of our Business Units and meet the highest expectations in terms of quality and maintainability
· Organize the software development processes, quality assurance and operational processes
· Analyze and discuss BI requirements with your internal customers: the business units
· Design and supervise the design of data models and data integration pipelines
· Acquire insight into the logistic business processes from the knowledge holders in the business
· Build, maintain and continually optimize robust and effective relationships with all business and IT partners- typified by effective leadership, well-articulated and timely communication
Your Skills and Experiences
· Master in computer science or similar degree
· Strong experience in the area of Business Intelligence, logical and physical relational data modeling (OLTP), dimensional data modeling (OLAP) as well as in SQL and Oracle PL/SQL programming
· Hands-on, result- and solution-oriented character, who does not mind to get into technical details if needed and who can guide others to achieve timely and good technical results
· Theoretical and practical know-how in BI and DWH concepts and processing of high volume data
· Experience with at least one ETL tool and one BI tool, ideally SAP BusinessObjects or Tableau
· Strong analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with high level of written and spoken English
· Readiness to travel to Hamburg every other month
