What we're looking for

On the Waitrose contract we have two sites based in Milton Keynes: Regional Distribution Centre at Brinklow operating fresh and chilled chambers and National Distribution Centre at Magna Park operating ambient chamber. We also have frozen site which is based in Reading. Dynamic, fast paced environment of that contract provides high level contract logistics customer solutions for Waitrose.

Reporting to System team Leader, System Co-coordinator, cooperating with Warehouse Goods In and Stock Control department. Purpose of the role is to carry out the clerical functions of the warehouse

What you'll do:

· 
Caring out daily clerical tasks/assignments directed by a Team Leader or Co-ordinator according to the procedures and to the required company standards measured by regular 1-2-1 meetings with supervisor.

· 
Assisting warehouse/distribution functions by operating warehouse computerised system, being flexible in supporting any changes to operational procedures with a minimum amount of time and disruption to the business.

· 
Receiving inbound deliveries from our customers/suppliers onto the WMS to ensure stock availability for our customer store orders. Verify and sign proof of delivery documents to ensure inbound deliveries are correct for invoicing purposes.

· 
Report non-conformance paperwork to their supervisor to ensure suppliers adhere to the delivery standards agreed by our customer.

· 
Releasing and prioritising store orders onto the Red Prairie to allow store orders fulfilment.

· 
Out bound - Emailing sign off paperwork and manifests to specific stores.

What you'll bring:

· 
Proven Math & English GCSE level or equivalent

· 
Previous customer service experience, team work experience

· 
Effective communication and organisational skills, flexible approach to work, commitment to developing yourself. Strong customer focus. Team player.

· 
PC skills (to include Microsoft Word and Excel)

· 
Ability to work within team, use own initiative, performance under pressure, attention to detail, ability to adapt to change and learn new skills and techniques.
