Job description

The Supply Chain Planner is the owner of Point of Sale availability for retail estate, based at the Greene King site, in Burton Upon Trent, they will be the representative of Kuehne + Nagel. They forecast the guest demand including seasonal, key events, new menus and promotions for Point of Sale . The successful candidate will also be the owner of Point of Sale forecasts and availability for key events and be responsible for developing an influential proving within Greene King and the Distributor operation.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities:

·  Ensure accurate data input at point of product set-up, escalating any issues to internal stakeholders

·  Creation of forecasts for key events and promotions for Point of Sale, communicating forecast amendments to distributors and suppliers and any stock issues to the wider business

·  Weekly review meetings on Point of Sale with suppliers & Kuehne + Nagel understanding any business and product changes, including number of product lines, suppliers and case volumes

·  Responsible for total day to day management of stock in depot, ensuring stock is proactively managed out of the business accordingly including reviewing de-listed stock and the destruction / sale of said stock and
·  resolution of day to day supply issues
Creation of all process maps for day to day activities – Point of Sale

·  Drive internal stakeholder behaviours and procedures ensuring best practice when discussing key events, promotions and new products.

·  Work with the “key events champion” to implement any changes around key events, and communicating these through internal operations, and other key stakeholders

·  Working with Supply Chain Controllers and Planners to understand new solutions/technology and implement to become more efficient along with Finance to manage internal charges

Your skills and experience

·  Knowledge of distributor environment and influences

·  Knowledge of typical product set-up controls

·  Working within distribution environment experience required

·  Product management experience required

·  Responsibility of controlling complex meetings

·  High level working knowledge of Microsoft Suite

·  Strong communication skills
