Your Role

Managing a dynamic team with a strong focus on the services offshored to the Cebu SSC, including but not limited to: 1. Data management 2. Shipment preparations 3. Invoicing processes 4. Customer reports 5. Documentation 6. Financial analysis 7. Customs Clearance 8. Systems and Process Support The role holder needs to bring the right attitude to the job with a focus on driving profitable operational solutions for the organization making sure we are able to deliver, maintain and improve. They should have a focus on leadership, project management, systems knowledge and above all else, a process improvement mindset. They must be flexible, trustworthy and demonstrate a high level of business judgment, focus + commitment to be successful in this role. This role requires someone who is system orientated with the passion to pass on their knowledge and skills to others.

Your Responsibilities

  • Leading through positive change whilst driving an achievement culture, supporting the implementation and improvements outlined through the SSC's excellence program, sponsoring and championing Quality, Lean Six Sigma, and Continuous Learning
  • Liaising with top management and stakeholders
  • Building, developing and empowering the operations team, providing a balance of direction and autonomy ensuring clear responsibilities and levels of accountability for all staff with a team up to 20 direct reports
  • Manage and develop Operations to meet targets at the optimum level of productivity and quality by the optimal usage of SALOG and/or other applications
  • Establish and regularly review Project plans (including FTE budgets) and results measurements to ensure achievement of the business’ cost/profit objective
  • To complete periodic process reviews with Gap Analysis, identifying improvements and implementation of the same, including restructuring of teams
  • Support new systems implementations and trainings according to the inputs by Corporate Process and Systems

Your Skills and Experiences

  • Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Finance 
  • Preferably with a Master's Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain
  • Has 2-5 yrs leadership experience; 2-5 yrs project management experience; 2-5 yrs Process Improvement
  • Has communication, influencing and motivation skills
  • Knowledge in mastering transport operational systems, data analysis and reporting
  • With strong technical understanding of processes, systems and problem solving
  • Familiarity with training methods, ability to identify different learning styles
