Your Role
You will oversee all operational activities which includes the picking, packing, and shipping of the outbound flows in the Store flow and E-Commerce departments and spearheading necessary process and procedural improvements. You will report the Operations Manager. Shift Time and Days : Thursday - Monday , 7.30pm - 4amYour Responsibilities
- You will follow QSHE requirements as dictated by the QSHE team and assist in preparation and successful passing of internal audits
- You will promote continuous improvement culture in operations through KNPS
- Ensure all standard processes are being followed
- Ensure proper handling and storage of all relevant documentation
- You will encourage employees in cross training and recruitment decisions
- You will track KPI for all areas with efficiencies in mind
- You will ensure financial targets are being met in areas of responsibility
- You will be point of contact for exceptional customer requests
- You will conduct training for supervisors and leads to ensure multi-departmental coverage
- Enforcing proper adherence of company standards (Tardiness/attendance, work ethic, dress code, code of conduct)
- You will oversee Shift startup/Waving of orders at beginning of shift
- Ensuring picking is being done with respect to the inventory accuracy
- Maintain workflow throughout the shift as additional orders arrive and prioritize based on pickup schedule
- Ensure proper Packing and Shipping standards are being met
- Ensure to organize the timing of outbound dock to meet carrier pickup schedule
- Monitor customer request tool to see if any additional orders need to be dropped and completed
- End of shift check/compliance with housekeeping standards and operational goals
- You will manage different flows to ensure compliance of order shipping lead times outlined in the customer contract
- Monitoring of picking and packing KPIs to promote efficiency improvements and reduce negative KPIs
- Actively engaged and looking for ways to improve and maximize processes, be the catalyst for positive change
- Cross-training of team between E-Commerce and Store flow to increase ability to move staff based on volumes and headcount
- Ensuring proper use of Corrugated boxes and customer package requirements to uphold end customer expectations
- Active management of the order Queue for both E-Commerce and Retail flows
- Being flexible and proactively managing staff to account for spikes or downturns in the volumes
Your Skills and Experiences
- High school diploma or equivalent degree is preferred
- 3+ years of recent experience in a warehouse environment
- 4+ years of experience in a supervisory role
- Intermediate skills in MS Word/Excel and computer skills
- Knowledge of AS400 and WMS experience
- Proficient in Data Entry
- Lean Six Sigma Certified at any level preferred but not required
- Experience in Manufacturing industry would be a plus
