Management of the "Seafreight Export Activities in Japan", maintaining a high service level and high profitability for all export shipments.  Improve the export processes and increase the productivity with the employment of the Kuehne + Nagel Shared Service Center. 

Your tasks and responsibilities

·  Lead the overall export activities in Japan, such as LCL-Export,  FCL-Export for overseas and short sea transports
·  Staff management, monitoring, training, correct performance issues if necessary.
·  Hold monthly operation meetings with staff  for better assessment of required resources  and 
business needs. 
·  Exprove and reach the Kuehne + Nagel global KPI
·  Ensure the achievement of the Kuehne + Nagel monetary/volume targets
·  Financial reporting need to take place in a timely and accurate manner and assuring that all 
instructions of the financial management are followed.
·  Develop our export business continuously in line with the Japan Growth Plan
·  Support our sales team with mutual sales calls as well as suitable solutions/pricing.
·  Meet export customers frequently to intensify the relationship.
·  Follow and enforce the Kuehne + Nagel Compliance Rules and the overall Kuehne + Nagel Guidelines and Working Instruction within the export teams.
·  Improve the productivity with new software tools and the usage of the Kuehne + Nagel Shared Service Centre to avoid overtime
·  Co-operate and support other seafreight departments as well as other Kuehne + Nagel departments/sections for the benefit of the company
·  Watch the market and competition to evaluate new tendencies and trends
·  Work in alignment with the company's business strategy and objectives, plus any other tasks assigned by the superior

Your skills and experience

·  Bachelor Degree or above in Logistics, Business Administration preferred
·  Business level proficiency in English language
·  Business level proficiency in Japanese language
·  5 - 10 years of Sea logistics working experience (especially export)
·  2 - 5 years of direct leadership experience
·  International experience preferred
·  Results driven, quality minded personality
·  Strong communication skills to communication with stakeholders of all levels
