Your Role
Sea Logistics Field Sales Representative responsible for winning new accounts within the assigned branch office territory. The position is also responsible for maximizing sales growth from existing SME customers through the development of new sales, product marketing, and customer support strategies; and achieving specific volume growth targets in the assigned area(s) of the businessYour Responsibilities
- To generate new business opportunities with a clear focus on SME and to persuade potential customers to use KN products and solutions
- To take pricing decision in alignment with the Customers Care Managers
- To prepare quotations using our online tools and submit our proposal to the customers
- To develop and maintain your existing customer portfolio
- To demonstrate superior Sea Logistics product, trade and market knowledge
- To monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing and products
- To meet or exceed Salesperson activity targets
- To perform all aspects of the sales process and input & update all relevant activities utilizing Kuehne+Nagel internal systems daily
- To report customer complaints to the Customer Care Team
- To align with the Customer Care Team when onboarding new customers and to provide robust and complete content in Customer Promise/CCL handover form.
- To conduct mutually agreed periodic business reviews with the customer and maintain close/ongoing communication with customer and Kuehne+Nagel operations to assure expectations are satisfied.
- To develop and maintain proficiency in Kuehne+Nagel Systems and Solutions as well as introducing and selling Kuehne+Nagel’s Digital solutions to customers
- To maintain high level of data quality within the CRM systems in the determined dues
Your Skills and Experiences
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in related field
- Minimum 2 years of extensive track record of professional experience and success as field sales representative in the forwarding/logistics sector
- A reliable, trustworthy, and serious demeanour
- Excellent negotiating and closure skills, ability to work on your own initiative and in a highly organized way
- A good knowledge of spoken and written English and native Turkish
- Very good computer skills, particularly MS Office
- A valid driving license and an Active driver with ability to travel
