Job description
Hunt and develop new clientele for Kuehne + Nagel's Transpacific Sea freight business with focus on introducing the company's system and IT Solutions.
Your tasks and responsibilities
· Develop and maintain mid-sized customer portfolios.
· Cold-calling and other sales pursuit activities.
· Meet or exceed Sales Performance Monitoring System (SPMS) targets and Salesperson activity targets.
· Focus on Sea Freight sales activities, with support and understanding of airfreight, customs, insurance, and contract logistics opportunities.
· Develop and maintain proficiency in Kuehne + Nagel Systems and Solutions.
· Introduce and sell Kuehne + Nagel IT solutions to customers.
· Generate rate offers for all KN products and solutions.
· Input sales activities and opportunities into Customer Management System on a weekly basis.
· Create and a Standard Operating Procedure with the customer to ensure a smooth transition to the operating environment.
· Once business has been gained, transition the business to the implementation stage via ongoing work with the customer and operating departments.
Your skills and experience
· Possess actual Sales Experience or good knowledge in Sea Freight business or Freight forward industry
· Target driven personality with excellent communication and presentation skills
· Pro-active, committed and self-motivated
· Keen business acumen
