Your Role
The Regional Engineer Requirement Manager for Seafreight Systems support is responsible to ensure that the day to day activities in the Kuehne + Nagel seafreight operational systems in the South + Central America region(18 countries), are supported, tested and maintained. To avoid production disruption, regression testing is critical, but issues and user mistakes will inevitably occur, where the end user must have a quick and qualified response to move forward with the shipment. The role also entails managing the release deployment of new functions, including test coordination with the National System Support. To optimise testing and support, the role is responsible for the first line support team. Additional responsibilities include the analysis for special operational procedures related wth customers and suppliers, and assisting in documenting and producing a technical solution.Your Responsibilities
• Test and support all Seafreight applications; Predominantl.
• Coordinate testing and setting up test protocols.
• Communication on system enhancements and issues.
• Coordination with IT / Application Services.
• Ensure all first level system support is handled in a timely matter.
• Second level system support.
• Ensure technical set up is there in case of a new release.
• Project management for local application development.
Your Skills and Experiences
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in requirements management and systems support.
- Solid understanding of project management
- Experience with Seafreight Systems & Process
- Advanced English
