Your Role
In this position, you will collect data and analyze current operating procedures to determine which continuous improvement process technique is the best for our situation with the guidance of the Regional Lead Production System & National Production System MBB (Master Black Belt)Your Responsibilities
- You will be responsible and accountable for the Continuous Improvement of site project programs
- Deliver project portfolios resulting from Value Stream Analysis (VSA) activity
- Support and co-implement 5S, visual management, work instructions, and other production system standards
- Manage trackers and reports to ensure data integrity and that savings are validated with financial controllers
- Support to develop productivity management tools (GRIP) within the sites to ensure consistent measurement and monitoring of productivity at process and site level
- Align projects and continuous improvement activity to meet both savings targets and site productivity targets
- Support operations in the development of Kuehne+ Nagel Excellence 2.0 levels on site from Blue through to Gold
- Mentor and guide Yellow Belts
Your Skills and Experiences
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or related field
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt
- Proven experience in managing continuous improvement initiatives in Contract logistics
- Experience in demonstrating business acumen including P&L management and budgeting
- Advanced skills in Microsoft office tools including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Experience in using advanced level Minitab user version 14 or above
- Proficiency in using computer software and applications relevant to the role, such as CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and MS Office Suite.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve their best.
