Your Role
Within this role, you will be able to combine your thorough understanding of the logistics industry with your knowledge of and excitement for finance topics. You will have the opportunity to interact on different levels within the organization. Analytical abilities, proactivity and good communication skills is a must for this senior role in the regional office for South- and Central America.Your Responsibilities
- Perform and lead business reviews, including follow up and corrective actions.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance and KPIs, including budgeting and forecasting
- Development of business partnership with relevant Regional Management and prepare and attend review meetings with Corporate Management as well as Corporate Finance.
- Monitor business performance and continuously identify proactive measures to increase profitability and productivity and to mitigate potential exposure to the results.
- Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior management.
- Work and align closely with cluster and knowledge centre finance management.
- Continuously identify and support process improvements increase productivity and profitability.
- Develop and propose proactively restructuring concepts, cost saving initiatives or similar improvement plans.
- Review and drive Business Investment Applications (BIA) process and challenge status quo.
- Perform project controlling (resource input vs. output or benefit).
- Support or lead the financial work stream in M+A projects.
- Ensure pre-signature contract reviews (customers and suppliers, GCT, zero failure process etc.) and establish a consistent process and application thereof.
- Make use of existing networks and resources as much as possible when implementing solutions to identified risk areas.
- Establish regular reporting in line with BU / FU Corporate targets and agreed KPI measures using corporate financial data warehouses and tools.
- Continuously seek for standardization and automation.
- Own and protect conceptual data governance.
- Provide financial guidance and support to business unit managers and teams and develop business partnerships on different levels in the organization.
- Provide financial guidance and governance in line with the company’s accounting principles.
- Design, elaborate and execute finance trainings in alignment with other stakeholders.
- Application of the companies strategy to the SCA controlling agenda.
Your Skills and Experiences
- Graduation completed in Finance, Economics or related areas.
- Advanced English skills.
- Previous experience with Leadership.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Previous experience in Finance or Financial Controlling in a Logistics company is a plus.
