Your Role
You will lead and develop people, processes, and systems that ensure the highest safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency You will work on comprehensive reports, provide timely responses, and be the point of contact between the various departments within the company and customers.Your Responsibilities
- Prepare all quality reports and analyze them to identify negative and positive quality trends
- Make recommendations for improvements
- Examine records such as manifests, invoices, BOLs (Bills of Lading) and resolve process inefficiencies
- Investigate issues concerning overdue, damaged, or shortages in shipments and provide updates to customers on a timely basis
- Participate in quality meetings and meeting minutes
- Maintain Quality Management System
- Other duties as assigned
Your Skills and Experiences
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience in a full-time quality role
- 2 or more years as a Supervisor in a warehousing environment
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with SAP or other Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Knowledgeable of ISO9001/AS9100 standards
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, and/or Continuous Improvement strategies
- You must be a U.S. citizen to work at this site
