Descripción del puesto de trabajo

Manage LCL import and export growth, to raise the profile of the LCL product within Kuehne + Nagel Country. Liaise directly with operational departments, local sales, Finance, Regional Sales Management, Key Account Management and Trade Management to develop existing and new potential clients. Provide guidance and sales support where necessary.

Tus tareas y responsabilidades

1. Product management  
*P&L Responsibility for all the LCL departments created in the country.  
*Ensure operational efficiencies, better use of our IT systems.
*Liaison with NVOCC s regarding freight rates and local charges within the framework provided by  Global/Regional LCL management.  
*Maintaining regular liaison with key NVOCCs / CFS / Trucking contracts
*Maintain a clear directive in cost control, regular carrier & coloader review for maximum company and customer benefit, utilising core carriers, intermodal and efficiencies wherever possible. 
*Review LCL profit & loss performance for all LCL departments
*Managing, directing and achieving GP/NP2 and volume budget for all LCL departments.
*Keeping records and where applicable ensuring KN Rates are updated correctly and timely with both buying and selling conditions. 
*Reviewing and assessing the requirements, and ensuring timely completion of bids / RFQ with regards to rates from/to Country. 
*LCL Sailing schedules updating.     
2. Development 
*Liaising with Sales colleagues and Operations Management to ensure competitive pricing is provided for realistic client specific opportunities, all quotations are constructed / final Selling rates are given by Operational Seafreight Management.
*Participating in joint visits and / or presentations to customers.
* Working with Country Sales Management to facilitate the generation of new business from a) new business opportunities, b) existing company contacts and c) own contact (only to be pursued in conjunction with the local Sales Team).
*Internal promotion KN FreightNet for LCL.
*Support to coordinate rates in respect to pre- & on-carriage, CFS and all vendors participating of the LCL Biz. 
*Assessing the routing and profitability of both new and existing business to ensure maximized profitability is reached at all times.
*Support on Business Development of both Prepaid and Collect opportunities.

*Assisting the preparation for presentations to key customer opportunities as well as RFQ’s.
*Set, distribute, maintain LCL Minimum Selling Rate. 
*Monitoring and follow up of sales pipelines with focus on key opportunities.
*Follow up on all rate enquiries and identify any additional requirements to achieve a business award.
3. Reporting
*To provide Monthly reports and ad hoc basis reports required by Management.
4.Market and Product Analysis
*Provide regular market and product updates.

Tus habilidades y experiencia

·  University degree in comex.
Have 2-5 years of experience in Sea logistics.
Have 5-10 years of experience in freight forwarding.
English advanced.
Assist with creating and managing a sales plan and executing that plan to achieve the necessary budgetary requirements.
Strong communication skills. 
Good motivator and strong leadership skills.
Troubleshoots.
Organized and analytical.
Knowledge of KNRates/BOXI/MS Excel.
Demonstrates correct risk assessment and commercial acumen.
Willingness to travel.
