National Contract Logistics Operations Manager - Kn Portal - Incheon

Job description

You will be part of our Contract Logistics team adding your leadership expertise + skills to the delivery of Customer + Operational Excellence.

Your Role

Your day will be varied as you lead + coach your team to success, ensuring they all know their objectives + are fully empowered to meet them. Start your day by completing any requests for information focused on attracting + pursuing new customers. Then review the performance of your sites against agreed KPIs. Where we have closed recent opportunities, review onboarding + implementation plans with your team, focusing on zero failure to ensure we deliver as promised. Staying one step ahead of any potential issues will be key. You will be steadfast in ensuring your site is fully compliant with all licenses, QSHE, + dangerous goods requirements, both internal + external. Then review all of the factors that contribute to excellence across our operations, troubleshooting any concerns + implementing sustainable solutions to ensure we can continue to evolve our customer relationships, forming trust + deeper relationships to enable new opportunities

Your Responsibilities

To ensure your site management teams deliver against their customer, site + people key performance indicators (KPI).
To act as the Site Manager for locations within your scope as + when required.
To drive all activities relating to customer on-boarding, operational excellence, + customer retention in collaboration with your center of excellence peers + teams.
To drive productivity via engagement activities to create new initiatives focusing on continuous improvement at all times, ensuring all sites meet or exceed their productivity targets.
To contribute information required for tenders/proposals to support closing of new business.
To ensure that everyone involved in distribution activities deliver the right transport solutions

Your Skills and Experiences

Your strong leadership skills + understanding of contract logistics, along with your operational background will be the key to your success. You have been selected for this role for your operational experience + because you are passionate about operational safety, ensuring all of your team, customers, suppliers + community are kept safe.
