We are the contract logistics partner of choice for logistics outsourcing and the management of complex supply chains. Team Leidos which includes Kuehne + Nagel as the Storage, Distribution and Freight Delivery Partner took over the MoD's Logistics Commodities Services Operation in August 2015. In order to support the MOD Contract and other opportunities within the public sector, the Kuehne + Nagel Military & Government Business Unit was set up within the UK Contract Logistics Division. Reporting to the L&D manager, the L&D Adviser will design, deliver and evaluate a suite of training courses to include local inductions, practical trainer, group trainer and warehouse management systems (WMS) (e.g. VITAL, BODMS, BWIMS), and ABC Modules and to complete all pre and post course administration within agreed timelines.

Your tasks and responsibilities

·  Provide Learning and Development support to the LCS(T) contract and the wider KNMG Business Unit

·  Delivery of MHE training to the KN standard and to meet Operational requirements and Corporate
·  Inductions and Code of Conduct training to ensure achievement of 28 day target.

·  Work within Operations to ensure delivery of required ABC Modules.

·  Design and deliver and evaluate internal courses to support an emerging business requirement and produce training data

·  Develop and publish a training calendar which meets business needs and priorities.

·  Actively promote a positive Learning and Development culture and proactively support employee engagement initiatives.

·  Support the SHE Compliance team in the performance of their duties and Co-ordinate external operational training in line with budgetary expectations

Your skills and experience

·  Must hold or be prepared to undertake the RTITB MHE Instructor Course upon appointment

·  Experience of designing and delivering innovative learning and development interventions

·  Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills

·  Already a KN Practical Trainer/Practical Trainer Assessor or willing to attend and successfully complete a KN Practical Trainer Course

·  Already accredited to deliver a KN Local Inductor Course or willing to achieve and attended a KN
·  Group trainer Course or willing to attend and successfully complete

·  Knowledge of Kirkpatrick Model of Evaluation

·  Proficient in Microsoft Office

·  Experienced in co-ordination of internal and external training events
