Your Role
In your role as Contract Logistics Information Specialist you will play a key role to secure smooth operations and development.Your Responsibilities
- Ensure peak performance of warehouse management applications, handling installations and new releases.
- Provide hands-on support, training, and troubleshooting for administrative and operational users.
- Shape a customized TMS and WMS structure, perfectly aligning with customer needs and operational processes and define relevant reports and queries.
- Be the Information Systems ambassador during new customer implementations, covering configuration, testing, and go-live support.
- Drive seamless data flow with the implementation of EDI Mapping between Kuehne and Nagel and our customers.
- Collaborate with Business Development to enhance the RFQ process.
- Elevate our operational efficiency and client interactions in this dynamic Information Systems role and collaborate with colleagues across different departments, sites and countries.
Your Skills and Experiences
- 2-3 years work experience in IT administration and IT related studies or adequate experience in an IT-related environment.
- Background in warehouse activities and transport planning in operational or supporting functions as well as with related management systems;
- Showcase strong organizational and administrative skills, fuelled by a self-motivated approach;
- Demonstrate an analytical and logical mindset, emphasizing structured workflows and diligent follow-up;
- Contribute effectively to our collaborative environment with good interpersonal and communication skills;
- Knowledge of WMS, Excellent skills in MS Office and other reporting tools; e.g. Business Objects; experience with EDI is beneficial;
- Enrich our team with language proficiency in English; German or French are advantageous;
- Occasional business travels are required (e.g. due to implementation or training support).
