Your Role

As an intern, you will be a part of the Seafreight team and gain valuable experience through practical learning. Please note that next internship period starts from September 2020. If you are interested in extra work during summer, 2020 please ad this to your application.

Your Responsibilities

The role will support the Seafreight team in delivering operational and customer excellence and may entail a variety of administrative, customer service and/or operational tasks such as:

·  Supplier management such as coordination with carriers, hauliers and co-loaders
·  Coordinate and provide sea freight forwarding solutions in a timely and efficient manner for our customers
·  Manage suppliers costs
·  Invoicing and financial control of income and cost
·  Ensuring quality along the entire supply chain in accordance with SOPs
·  Deliver excellent service and quality. The ability to working on your own initiative is key as well as being a team player. You will develop excellent relationships with our external suppliers, ensuring the highest level of operational excellence in an environment of continuous improvement
·  Pro-actively look for and contribute to continuous improvement opportunities in the department 
·  Other duties as may be assigned to you from time to time by the company

Your Skills and Experiences

·  Must be a Full Time student in a post-secondary program where internship/thesis is a part of the program
·  Currently enrolled in a college or university with focus on Logistics/Supply Chain
·   A customer-centric mindset and collaborative
·  Keen to learn and develop on your own initiative
·  IT literate and capable of working in various IT systems
·  Communication skills in order to interact and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
·  Fluency in oral and written Swedish and English is a prerequisite for this role
