Your Role
To complete the daily processing of all Sea freight shipments and dispatch of freight, documentations, and any other related requirements. To help in increasing Productivity of National Sea freight Import Desk of Australia. To ensure high Compliance is maintained in line with Australian Customs Guidelines. To ensure the Overall Accuracy of the entries being processed, which includes but not limited to: - Shipping Line and Co-Loader’s documentations archiving to the KN System - Sea Cargo Automation reporting and import shipment declaration to the Australian Customs Authority To ensure that the Service Expectations of customers are delivered with minimum to zero escalation, and the behavioral expectations of the company are met and observed at all times.Your Responsibilities
- Monitors all Shipping Line and Co-Loader's documentations that are necessary for the Sea Cargo lodgments and reporting to the Customs Authority. These documents are necessary for the releasing and delivery of both BAL and Non BAL shipments handled by KN or with KN's participation
- Initiate calls and meetings with the Shipping Lines and Co-Loaders involved to speed up releasing of the shipping documents, and/or to follow-up missing document and/or incorrect document information
- Notifies relevant parties in the AU local offices and origin departments with regards to the necessary actions to be done to release the documents from the Shipping Line and Co-Loaders
- Coordinates LOA (Letter of Authority), OBL/Telex Release documents releasing with the origin departments which is necessary for KN to obtain the Delivery Orders from the Shipping Line prior the shipment ETA
- Checks and review the correctness of the carrier and co-loader invoices, and coordinates with the KN Accounts Department regarding the payments, and in parallel, performs the necessary transactions in Sea Log and other KN payment systems
- Checks and reviews Shipping Line and Co-Loader's document information and/or details to match with the information indicated in Sea Log, and collaborate with the Managed Service and/or Sea Cargo teams for the necessary actions, in case an incorrect or mismatch information is found
- Monitors all 'Create Customer Documentation' tasks in Sea Log, and complete the task timely or prior the shipment ETA.
Creates Internal Delivery Order (DO2) document for each sub-file on a SACO shipment.
Ensures all Shipping Line and Co-Loader's documentations are archived in Sea Log timely and accurately against the relative transaction numbers - Runs the BOT application to speed up archiving of shipping documents in Sea Log
- Checks and review the report generated by the BOT application to ensure a manual correction or archiving of the BOT-rejected documents
- Regularly checks the 'Missing Delivery Order' report to ensure that all upcoming shipments have the necessary Delivery Order document in Sea Log prior the shipment ETA
- Coordinates with the AU Claims Team on any damage and/or short shipped cargoes as indicated in the Cargo Outturn Report
- Creates and triggers Sea Log task in order to enable the downstream processes
- Seeks for continuous improvement over task, and maintain the latest working instructions. Perform other duties as assigned
Your Skills and Experiences
- Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Logistics/Transportation, Computer Science/Information Technology, Business studies/administration/management, Engineering, Accounting/Finance or Economics
- Preferrably 2 years working experience in IT/Finance or Air Logistics
- Basic Microsoft Excel Skills
- Solid knowledge of international geography
- Good English communication skills
