Freight Bill Payment & Audit Analyst

Job description

The Freight Bill Payment & Audit Analyst ensures that all prices going through our Partner and proper billing processes are produced correctly and as per agreed procedure, tariffs and deadlines (clients/3PL/Partner) and that each involved parties respect the agreed billing procedure.

Your tasks and responsibilities

-Liaise with our FBP&A Partner
-Check of Rate sheet/Rating Process with Partner
-Manage Contract Variation and Extra costs treatment, incl. price entries/correction including related communication with clients/3PL/Partner/colleague
-Participation to Client/Carriers/Partner internal Meeting related to Freight Settlement issues
-Issue List creation/maintenance
-Support investigate discrepancies
-Creation of Credit Note
-Daily monitoring
-Explanation of Freight Settlement and Contract Variation (CV) Procedure to the Clients/Carriers/Colleagues/Partner
-Check that all financial documents are booked correctly or related accruals are done correctly Requirements

Your skills and experience

-Preferably formal education in administration or logistics (Forwarding agent, etc.)
-Work experience of at least 2 years
-Established freight invoicing knowledge
-Analytical, financial background
-Affinity to numbers
-Computer skills: Excel, Word, Outlook is a must
-Very good communication skills
-Team Player
-Ability to fulfill time-critical tasks on time, keep schedules and deadlines
-Strong affinity with required customer quality standards
