Your Role
Reporting to the Foreign Trade Zone Manager you will be responsible for performing all daily/weekly Foreign Trade Zone tasks of reporting inventory receipts, shipments, and adjustments to Customs Border Protection, as required, on behalf of Kuehne+Nagel clients in fulfillment of On-Site Foreign Trade Zone Managed Services function.Your Responsibilities
- You will Serve as a direct Client Contact for all Foreign Trade Zone specific functions to be performed by Kuehne+Nagel under Foreign Trade Zone Services Agreement.
- Prepare and submit all required Foreign Trade Zone Admissions (e214), Weekly Withdrawals (CF3461/CF7501), quarterly and annual documentation & forms to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in a timely manner maintaining all record keeping requirements for management of the client’s Foreign Trade Zone site.
- You will initiate customs entries, export transactions, and zone-to-zone transfers for merchandise entering and leaving the zone as necessary.
- Partner with the Foreign Trade Zone Project Manager & Foreign Trade Zone Control Tower to ensure the Procedures
- Manual is current and accurately reflects the operations and practices and are compliant with government regulations.
- You will ensure all Foreign Trade Zone record keeping requirements are complete and readily available for Customs Border Patrol review, as needed.
- Validate Foreign Trade Zone data against actual documentation as needed to ensure accuracy of integration and information.
- Conduct audits of transactions and processes to as to make recommendations to client for operational improvement.
Your Skills and Experiences
- 1+ years’ experience working in an inventory control, warehousing, logistics, or customs role.
- 1+ years' experience administering a Foreign Trade Zone
- 1+ years' experience working directly with Customs Border Patrol
- You will have a working knowledge of inventory control systems, warehousing and logistics activities including knowledge of logistics/Customs terminology/US Tariff Schedule
- You will have In-depth experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
