Your Role
As a Financial Analyst at Kuehne+Nagel- Contract Logistics, you play a pivotal role in driving financial excellence and strategic decision-making within the organization. Your primary responsibility is to analyze financial data, generate insights, and contribute to the development of sound financial strategies. A key emphasis in this role is on becoming a trusted advisor for internal stakeholders, providing actionable recommendations and fostering financial transparency.Your Responsibilities
- Monitor actual spend versus budgets at a customer and site level and partnering with operations leadership to provide in-depth and insightful variance commentary.
- Design, develop and prepare, accurate weekly and monthly management reporting, including but not limited to: customer-level P&Ls and balance sheet reconciliations
- Ensure payroll expenses are and other expenses driven by timekeeping records are reporting accurately in the site financials.
- Design and maintain standardized financial tracking tools to ensure budget adherence of implementations, start-ups, and capital investments, in line with commercial policy and accounting standards.
- Assist working capital team in monitoring and ensuring low AR ageing and optimization of the cash conversion cycle.
- Demonstrate a high level of business acumen by providing financial oversight over the renewals pricing process. This would typically involve high level of technical modeling skill along with a good understanding of cost drivers and pricing models (transactional, cost plus, hybrid etc.)
- Actively partner with site operational team to devise productivity enhancing initiatives and actively validate and control proposals from a financial standpoint.
- Report to the Financial Controller
- Hybrid modality (up to hiring manager and company's discretion)

Your Skills and Experiences
- Degree in Finance or Accounting or relevant experience
- 3+ years’ experience as a financial analyst, financial accountant, controlling or similar role, preferably in the freight forwarding / logistics / transportation industry
- Exposure to reporting and data visualization platforms preferred
- Advanced computer skills, including full proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
