Job description

We are looking for engineers with a solid understanding of DevOps concepts to join our team in Tallinn.

Your Role

As a DevOps Engineer you will support and improve global web applications of Kuehne+Nagel. Day-to-day you will engage directly with internal clients, developers, Product Owner and other teams to better optimize their workflows through automation and well-designed systems.

Your Responsibilities

·  Administration, maintenance and monitoring of a global web applications to meet business critical expectations based on Zabbix, Grafana
·  Improvement of infrastructure setup and related deployment/release processes
·  Continuous integration of new features and plugins (3rd party and individual developments)
·  Incident Management in cooperation with operating, QA and project management teams distributed around the globe
·  Strategic development of DevOps technology stack
·  Determining, negotiating and agreeing on in-house DevOps procedures, standards and specifications
·  Participation in all aspects of product development and release activities in order to ensure that the necessary quality gates are kept and met

Your Skills and Experiences

·  University degree in informatics or comparable
·  Good knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift (or Docker, or Kubernetes)
·  Several years of experience in agile software development (handling code, build, deployment, unit testing, continuous delivery, continuous integration (Jenkins))
·  Know-how in the field of application servers (Tomcat). monitoring with Zabbix
·  Basic knowledge of IT operations, SSO and IdP identity provider
·  High problem-solving competencee, good communication skills and taking responsibility in difficult situations
·  Calm, customer-, team and goal-oriented working method
·  Good knowledge English, written and spoken
